Back!

After a month away, hmm maybe two, I'm back with some new, upcoming posts, including more AG Friends, Doll Rescues, and Two Random Dolls.

So I had a few things I needed to square away, plus I took a little bit of time off to learn how to animate and also do some writing. I'm kind of one of those jack-of-all-trades people, master at none.

First-Borns Part II

Onto Part II of my First-Borns Project. (Again apologies for poor lighting. I had zero% natural sunlight as the skies rained for days!)

So I had fairly good success with my first two First-Borns, English Boy and Punkin Princess (for lack of better names). So I grabbed another four blank heads and got to work on them. [node:read-more:link]

First-Born Customs Part I

Here's what been occupying me for the last couple of weeks: I had a whole lot of blank doll heads that needed some love and they weren't going away. Previously I had been focusing on cleaning up and restoring some TLC dolls I had picked up on eBay, listing them, selling, and trying to create some working space for myself!

Style Girl

I had a goal to get two more AG Friends posts up before the end of the year. I don't think I'm going to make it--the skies are so dark with pouring rain, I've got no good natural light for photos. (Being that I live in California I'm not going to complain!)

But I did run out to Big Lots to grab a Style Girls doll for my New Adventures post and I'm so liking her for the price. . .

Learning the Faces

I've never really been adept at all the My Twinn face sculpts, and I'm always in awe of the My Twinn fans who can instantly identify any of the many 23" dolls on sight. It's possible I just never took the time to learn them, but with the exception of a few that stood out to me like Danielle and Madison and Kate (or Caitie) they have always been a bit of a mystery to me. . .
