Style Girls Piper and Quinn visited my work table this month and got a deluxe makeover just in time for the new year. My Twinn 18" Kim is the final rescue doll of the My Twinn rescue project.
I can't say how happy I am to have made it to this point after three challenging rescues over the last couple of months (and several years planning). 18" Twinns Berkeley, Cai, and Pearl are all the better for it too, and Kim has been patiently waiting in the wings to join them. In Fixing Pearl Part I, I discussed some of the extra problems with Pearl's cloth body, and also one or two complications with her eyes. [node:read-more:link]
With both Berkeley and Cai successfully remade, it was time to look at My Twinn 18" Pearl and see what I could do to make her whole again too. [node:read-more:link]
In part I of my Fixing Cai series, I wrote about some of the more complicated TLC that this 18" My Twinn doll needed, including removing her factory wig glue (with varying sucess) and minimizing some damage around her eyes.
