Pottery Barn Kids dolls are a line of 18" play dolls from Götz made especially for Pottery Barn Kids children's products. They are extremely popular with American Girl doll fans and offer a high level of quality in a soft-body, articulated doll.

There several different Pottery Barn Kids dolls, including the original trio, blonde Ashleigh, ginger Megan, and brunette Marianne, along with black-haired Maya, and Pottery Barn boy Henry (all currently retired except for Maya).
 

Current Pottery Barn dolls include blonde Emma, ginger Leighton, brunette Bailey, black-haired Zoey, and Pottery Barn boy, Parker.
 

Most of the PB Kids dolls use the same face mold, also used by most of the Götz Precious Day dolls. Zoe and Maya however use a different Götz face mold.

There are also Special Edition Pottery Barn Kid "career" dolls: Equestrian Penelope, a special "Princess" doll, ballerina Melinda, baker May Baker, and veterinarian Brooklyn.

In addition, Pottery Barn Kids has a Limited Edition "girls of the world" collection; these are Prita from India, Carmen from Mexico, Mei from China, and Zola from Kenya. Each is dressed in her country's national dress style and comes with a themed animal pet, Prita has a monkey, Carmen has a little dog, Mei has a panda, and Zola has a leopard cub.

Pottery Barn Kids dolls are soft-bodied articulated dolls that stand, balance, and pose well (though some may have a severe case of "stiff neck"). They are comparable in size to AG dolls at about 18" (46cm). The Pottery Barn Kids bodies are slightly slimmer and narrower across the shoulders and they also have longer necks. Their arms and legs look fairly identical to American Girls dolls. They can share most clothing.

Pottery Barn Dolls have rooted hair made of quality, synthetic fiber that can be washed and styled. Hairstyles and hair textures vary. The original four girl dolls have long hair and bangs/fringe. The latest four "core" girls have long hair without bangs/fringe. Additionally, Maya has wavy hair, while all the other Pottery Barn girls have straight hair. The Special and Limited Edition dolls have varying hairstyles and textures.

While PBK dolls can wear American Girl doll clothes and most other 18" doll clothes, a limited number of PBK outfits and costumes are available from Pottery Barn Kids website.

New Pottery Barn dolls retail from about $70.00 to $120.00 (or more). Used and discontinued dolls can be found on the secondary market averaging for about $45.00 or higher, though they can sometimes be found for as low as $15.00 or $20.00.

Pottery Barn Kids also formerly offered a "Mini Me" 6 1/2" version of some of their dolls. They can occasionally still be found on the secondary market.
