MERITUS GIRLS ON THE GO (L) and TOLLYTOTS GIRLS ON THE GO (R)
There are at least three different versions of Girls on the Go dolls made in the last decade or so; the most prevalent currently seems to be the Meritus/ Elite version, which is actually a completely different doll than the Geoffrey Girls on the Go highlighted in this post. The other version, Tollytots, is less common but is also unique from the Geoffrey dolls.
MERITUS GIRLS ON THE GO (L) and TOLLYTOTS GIRLS ON THE GO (R)
Geoffrey Girls on the Go actually look a lot like their cousins, Laura Ashley dolls, though their skin is paler and their faces thinner. They do not use the Lotus doll body type that Laura Ashley dolls do. They are overall very striking and pretty dolls, although like other Geoffrey dolls, they are not quite the level of quality of American Girl dolls.

Their hair is rooted and quite thick with very good coverage throughout. It is typically long and universally seems to have bangs/ fringe. It can be blonde, black, brunette, or auburn, and the texture can vary widely between coarse and wavy to fine and straight. It should be noted that the coarser haired dolls have a tendency towards matting and even severe breakage/ hair loss over time.

BRUNETTE GIRLS ON THE GO DOLL
Geoffrey "Go" Girls' eyes come in brown or blue, possibly other colors as well. Unfortunately they seem to be susceptible to "red" silver eye, and their eyes can fade from blue or brown to a violet or magenta color.
ETHNIC GIRLS ON THE GO DOLL WITH RED EYE
Geoffrey Girls on the Go have large eyes and delicately feathered brows. They have long curling eyelashes and painted pink lip color. Their vinyl can be light or a lighter shade of dark. They have a rosy tone that contrasts with American Girls' somewhat sallow tone.
They stand slightly under 18", with shorter arms and legs than American Girl, but they have a longer, rounder, cloth torso. They have smaller hands and feet than American Girl dolls and can't as easily stand on their own. They can share clothes with American Girl dolls, though some pants or skirts may hang a bit long on them.

Geoffrey Girls on the Go are no longer in production and searching around for one may turn up a Meritus/Elite or a Tollytots version only. Geoffrey "Go" Girls may be a bit hard to find on the secondary market, but they do appear now and then and their prices are generally affordable--as low as $10 for a used doll or perhaps up to $50 for a mint or new-in-box doll.
