Four Twinn Project
While I've been consumed with Dollmaker getting off the ground these last few months, these My Twinn 18" dolls have been patiently waiting on my shelf, staring out from under their protective plastic covers, probably wondering if they are ever going to get that makeover they were promised years ago.
I collected these four, Berkeley, Pearl, Cai, and Kim, with an intent to fix them up: give 'em new eyes, new hair, new clothes, new whatever each one needed. But as it's been, I haven't gotten back to them for a while and I think it's finally time I did.
So this week I'm begining work on these beautiful (and potentially beautiful) dolls, although each one has a list of her own unique problems--from undone seams and faded eyes to wobbly joints and no hair--that need resolving.
I'll be documenting and updating my progress, although I still have no real camera, other than my phone camera--which, yeah, is just not the same. So while I'm saving for a new camera (mine broke late last year) I'm still aiming for the best photos I can, no pun intended, if the light is willing to work with me. We'll see. . .
Meanwhile I'll be going wholeheartedly into this project and see what comes of it in the end.
