I have a new AG Friends post coming up in the next day or two, on guess who? Here's a preview. ;)Today my two random dolls are Gotz Anna and Effanbee Katie. I don't know what year Anna is from, but she's an unusual version of Hannah with wavy hair. Meanwhile Katie is Effanbee's Sunshine Sweetie Katie from 2006. [node:read-more:link]
Wow, so it looks like both My LIfe As and Our Generation each have a brand new boy doll to compete with American Girl's Logan Everett!
These guys look really cute and I hope I get a chance to review one (or both) of them soon. The new My Life as a School Boy looks like a blond version of the Caucasian school boy by My Life as, but with a bookish flavor. I love it!

Today my two random dolls were randomly selected from my list of custom dolls, LRC Charmers and The Cool Ones. They dont have names; they're both prototypes for future dolls.
Both the dolls use face sculpts by Pat Secrist (I adore Secrist faces!): Annette on the left, and Punkin the little princess on the right. [node:read-more:link]

Their modestly priced 18" dolls have have been a popular alternative to the costlier American Girl dolls, but the current Springfield Collection dolls are the result of a long evolution, beginning in the mid 1990s. I came across this little cutie on eBay last month, who needed some help. She definitely looked like she'd had some adventures in her life! She was a Breezy Point Treasures doll by Sandra Bilotto, A Life of Faith's Millie Keith. [node:read-more:link]
My Life As dolls first appeared in 2012 when Madame Alexander introduced a new 18" play doll collection which featured dolls in different life roles, and were sold exclusively through Walmart. MA had been partnered with Walmart the year before for their 2011 Friends Boutique collection but replaced them with the new My Life As dolls. [node:read-more:link]
