Kingstate Friendship KidsSubmitted by Little Raven on Wed, 2016-04-06 21:44Kingstate the Dollcrafter originally produced porcelain collector dolls in 17" or 19", but in 1998 they released a vinyl 18" doll collection called Friendship Kids that strongly resembled the company's porcelain dolls.
Then in the mid 2000s, the Friendship Kids were slightly updated with a new wardrobe to look less like their predecessors and more like popular vinyl dolls. |
They're Here!Submitted by Little Raven on Mon, 2016-04-04 17:22And I don't mean poltergeists. I mean my labels! Wow, this has got to be the one of the happiest moments in my business's life! |
It's Going. . .Submitted by Little Raven on Wed, 2016-03-30 15:35I've got some progress going on my four rescues.
In the past, I've worked on up to three dolls at a time so taking on four is a lot to bite off! But so far so good. I'm especially happy with the way my Heidi Ott disembodied-Hannah-head-bargain is looking; it's come a long way since pairing itself with a headless AG body--a match made in doll heaven. Hannah is now Han, and I'm loving his freckles and brows. He's close to done now, just needs new clothes. |

It's Almost HereSubmitted by Little Raven on Mon, 2016-02-15 08:25Little Raven Creations Basics: Boxer Shorts. Soon to be here. I'm going through the final test runs today. There are actually two styles offered in this pattern; three if you count the variation on one. Good doll boxer shorts are hard to make. How hard? Well, I wanted something that could actually be worn under clothing without bunching and lumping, so I had to strike a good balance balance between authentic and workable [node:read-more:link] |
Castle ChaosSubmitted by Little Raven on Thu, 2016-02-04 05:38Oops, I've been AWOL for a while trying to deal with everything at the homestead, or Castle Chaos--by which name it shall be known for the moment. Besides persistent car problems making it very difficult to get here or there, when I need to get here or there (yeah I'm way too old for this) and little stray animals that keep making their adorable way to my home and tumbling about with little stray animals who made their way to my home 15 years ago and now just want to be left in peace. . . Tonner My Imagination Doll ReviewSubmitted by Little Raven on Sun, 2015-12-20 21:44I was super happy to get my Tonner My Imagination doll in the mail over the weekend. She was a preorder from months ago, so it looks like some of the My Imagination dolls are finally coming in. This is only my second Tonner doll--third if you count Effanbee Katie who was sold through Tonner a while back. But I've been following the Tonner website for a while now, and have long been a fan of their gorgeous art and play dolls. Naturally when they announced they would be adding their own contribution to the 18" doll market, I was on board! |
